(Monheim am Rhein, Germany--March 28, 2013) Yellowtec has opened an office in California for sales and support of the company’s award-winning range of products for professional broadcast and industrial applications.
Founded in early 2013, Yellowtec grew out of the high-end systems integrators Thum & Mahr. The company’s product line embodies design values rooted in the intense problem-solving experience of high-end systems integration. Each Yellowtec product offers an elegant and productive solution to real-world requirements encountered in studios, production facilities and industrial work environments.
Located in Escondido, the office is headed by Michael Uhl, a broadcast sales veteran with more than thirty years’ experience with radio stations, recording studios, radio and tv networks.
“I have known Thum & Mahr for three decades, and have always been impressed with their pursuit of perfection, attention to detail, and with their commitment to doing what is right,” said Michael Uhl. “This is a company that knows it’s not just the equipment, but the people who build it and use it that are important. I am honored to have the opportunity to represent Yellowtec and its exciting product collection in the United States.”
Yellowtec’s product range includes iXm, the industry’s only high-quality pro microphone with built-in recording and Yellowtec’s innovative LEA Engine for perfect levels every time; m!ka, the elegant and versatile studio mic and monitor mounting and lighting system; Intellimix®, the intuitive personalized desktop audio mixing system; litt, a sleek, streamlined programmable visual signalling system for studios and galleries; b-line XT and b-line bold, the industry’s most versatile systems for talk show and game show broadcasters; VIP/Digital, a personalized voice processing system for radio studios; and the PUC2 hi-definition USB audio interface with class-leading performance.
“After many years of doing business in the US as Thum & Mahr, we are delighted to establish a first US office for our new company,” said Hanno Mahr, CEO at Yellowtec. “Our design-led approach to product development is very much appreciated by customers who understand that quality and productivity go hand in hand. Michael Uhl’s knowledge and experience will be invaluable to us as we make the Yellowtec brand more widely available throughout the USA.“
