(Pangbourne Berkshire, United Kingdom--April 4, 2013) Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software, has announced its flagship media integration product, Medway, will support the next version of Adobe® Premiere® Pro software. Chris Steele, product manager Marquis Broadcast explains: “Adobe Premiere Pro is used by video professionals to edit, manipulate, and export their video projects. Medway will integrate with the next version of Adobe Premiere Pro into broadcast workflows that require media, sequences and metadata to be passed between video servers, MAMs and automation systems, as well as sending to other edit platforms.

“To achieve this, Medway will support clip, sequence and metadata exchange with the next version of Adobe Premiere Pro,” continues Steele. “Medway will import both single MXF media clips from Adobe Premiere Pro and XML sequences, export sequences and media to Adobe Premiere Pro and embed genealogy metadata in the XMP sidecar file to enable the source of the media to be tracked, streamlining users’ workflows.

“Marquis is focused on enhancing digital workflows,” confirms Steele. “Our interoperability engine Medway, will deliver integration between the next version of Adobe Premiere Pro and other leading broadcast content applications, ensuring systems can work seamlessly together.”

“The next version of Adobe Premiere Pro includes some powerful creative advancements that we’re excited to reveal at NAB,” said Simon Williams, director of strategic relations at Adobe. “The integration of the next version of Adobe Premiere Pro with Marquis’ Medway will enable our customers to have highly integrated workflows for even easier-to-create and more streamlined productions.”
