Citizen Pictures Celebrates Daytime Emmy Win and Primetime Nomination

(Denver, Colorado--August 19, 2013) Citizen Pictures was honored at the 40th Annual National Daytime Emmy Awards this year, taking home an Emmy for “Guy’s Family Reunion”, a Food Network special starring Guy Fieri, nominated in the “Outstanding Special Class Special” category. This was the second national Emmy for CEO Frank Matson and first for Executive Producers Tim McOsker and Kat Higgins. On the heels of this win, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy in the “Outstanding Reality Program” category, up against such popular mainstays as “Deadliest Catch” and “MythBusters”. Citizen Pictures was also awarded in the 34th Annual Telly Awards this year, winning Bronze for “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” (Kid Rock’s Detroit Tour) and Silver for “The Levi Effect” documentary.
