Eonline Scores Biggest Grammys Performance in Its History with 18.7 Million Page Views and 1.1MM Mobile Web Uniques

(Los Angeles, California--January 27, 2014) E!'s “Live from the Red Carpet: The 2014 Grammy Awards” hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic on Sunday, January 26 from 6-8pm, scored the network its second highest-rated “Live from the Red Carpet” Grammys telecast in its history among Households (2.35 coverage rating) behind only 2012’s high dating back to 1995. It was the third-most watched “Live from the Red Carpet” Grammys coverage in Total Viewers (3.1 Million), Adults 18-49 (1.5M), Women 18-49 (1.1M) and Women 18-34 (591,000).

Digitally, Eonline delivered a record-breaking Grammys day of the event in E! digital page views (18.7M, up +6% YOY) and mobile web uniques (1.1M, up +73% YOY). E!’s 2014 Grammy Awards coverage drew over 104,000 tweets on Sunday (up +22% YOY). E!’s “Live from the Red Carpet: The 2014 Grammy Awards” had the most users engaged on Twitter of any cable network (excluding sports) and was the most talked about red carpet Grammy coverage (76,000 mentions); it was the #2 most tweeted about cable program on Sunday (excluding sports). E!’s “Countdown to the Red Carpet: 2014 Grammy Awards” ranked in the top 5 most talked about cable programs on Twitter (27,000 mentions, #4 rank excluding sports and premium).

Additionally on air, “Countdown to the Red Carpet: 2014 Grammy Awards” from 4-6pm was E!’s second highest-rated Countdown Grammys coverage since 2006 in Households (.85, +9% YOY). E!’s second annual “After Party: 2014 Grammys” from 11:30pm -12:30am grew year-to-year across all measures, doubling in key demos including Households (.75 coverage rating +103%), Total Viewers (884,000, +96%), Adults 18-49 (513,000, +98%), Women 18-49 (375,000, +103%), Adults 18-34 (347,000, +92%) and Women 18-34 (267,000, +121%).
