Headquartered in London, Codex is the leading developer of RAW recording and media management systems for motion picture and television production. Solectrix, which is based in Nuremburg, Germany, manufactures camera and measurement technologies for the medical, industrial, automotive, tele- and data-communications industries. The collaboration between the two companies will see the integration of Solectrix camera electronics with Codex recording and workflow technologies to create a new, compact, camera and recording package.
