(Las Vegas, Nevada--April 8, 2014) TASCAM, a division of TEAC America and part of Gibson Brands, Inc., will have its three brand new clock generators on display for the first time at the 2014 NAB Show (Booth SL4230). Comprising the CG-2000, CG-1800 and CG-1000 models, each was specifically designed for a particular market segment, including broadcast, post production and professional recording to keep audio and video signals in sync.
Equipped with high-precision internal OCXO (Oven Controlled Xtal Oscillator) clocks, each unit offers users a much more accurate clock system compared to rubidium or GPS 10MHz clocks. The three units each excel in jitter management and glitch-free relocking.
CG-2000: a video sync/master clock generator designed to meet the on-site needs of broadcast and post-production facilities. It improves redundancy for both the power supply and video/audio clock. The most advanced out of the three, this unit features two power supplies, protecting the user from any power surge interruptions.
CG-1800: a video sync/master clock generator that is a necessary building block for the creation of flexible, high-quality audio synchronization systems in post production. It supports NTSC; PAL; S/P DIF for audio and HD Tri-level for video, word and AES 3/11.
CG-1000: a master clock generator designed with recording studios, sound engineers and professional musicians in mind. With the high-quality OCXO, it offers a supremely accurate clock with external inputs that support up to 10MHz.
TASCAM, part of Gibson Brands, Inc., is the pro audio and home recording division of TEAC Corporation. TASCAM will continue to be instrumental in revolutionizing professional and home recording by offering the highest quality products at the best value to their customers.
