LipSync Post Appoints Sven Taits As Senior Re-Recording Mixer


Latest Hire Brings 13 Years’ Experience on Feature Film and TV Projects

(London, United Kingdom--May 1, 2014) LipSync Post has appointed leading Re-Recording Mixer Sven Taits to join its BAFTA Craft award-winning sound team, starting 12 May 2014.

Sven spent seven years at De Lane Lea before going freelance in 2008, and has worked with many distinguished directors including Wes Anderson, Stephen Woolley, Mike Leigh, Anthony Minghella and Paul Greengrass. His varied feature film credits include The Constant Gardener, Fantastic Mr Fox, United 93 and Layer Cake, while his TV work includes The Wipers Times (BBC) and White Girl (BBC).

Sven will work on feature film and television projects, starting with The Dead Lands, directed by Toa Fraser, a period action epic about murder and vengeance in a Maori tribe.

LipSync Post won a BAFTA Craft Award in 2014 for Sound (Fiction) for its work on Dancing on the Edge.
