Snell announces Apple ProRes formats for Alchemist OD

(Reading, United Kingdom--June 12, 2014) Snell today announced the immediate availability of the latest version of Alchemist OD, which adds support for Apple ProRes file formats. This update is one of many product enhancements included in the maintenance package.

This latest release extends Alchemist OD’s range of supported codecs to include ProRes 4444, ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422, ProRes 422 LT and ProRes 422 Proxy.

Alchemist OD removes the restrictions of specifically designed hardware and is available for $16,000 per single license. Volume-based discounts are also available.
