(Sydney, Australia--July 2, 2014) Audio Network, the international music company specialising in music for film, television and video, today announced the acquisition of a 49% shareholding in Audio Network Australia Pty Ltd from co-founder Linda Tizard, enabling the Australian subsidiary to become a fully integrated part of the Audio Network Group. The acquisition demonstrates the Group’s continuing determination to expand globally and develop its vision whilst retaining the innovative and creative force behind the group’s success.
Charles Cutbill, currently Head of Sales, will assume the position of Sales Director, whilst Jess Ossington, Head of Creative Services, will take on the role of Operations Director.

Linda Tizard commented, “Six years ago, the opportunity to establish Audio Network Australia proved irresistible and I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved in that time. Having established a great team, the time has come to hand over the management of the company to Charlie and Jess, who I have no doubt will take it from strength to strength.”
Robert Hurst, CEO and Co-founder of Audio Network Group, said, “Linda has done an amazing job, successfully establishing the Audio Network brand in both the Australian and New Zealand markets over a period that has seen our music catalogue grow from 18,000 to well over 70,000 tracks. The well-deserved promotions of Charlie and Jess reflect the contribution that they have both made to the success of Audio Network Australia to date and the impact that they will have in their new roles. This is an exciting phase of international growth for the business and I’m delighted to welcome them to the management team.”
