(December 18, 2014) Katy Perry’s lashes are in full bloom in a new spot directed by Serial Pictures’ Jonas Akerlund and edited by Laura Milstein of bicoastal Union. Created via GREY, “Fairytale” has a breezy, playful and romantic air. Perry’s natural exuberance, coupled with Akerlund’s fanciful execution and graphics/design , is a perfect fit for the launch of the brand’s new Full Lash Bloom Mascara.



“I have worked on many CoverGirl commercials and each one centers around the personality of the talent involved, creating unique stories enhanced by the direction of the set, styling, cinematography, graphic and editorial choices,” said Milstein. “The world Jonas created was perfect for Katy! It was a pleasure working with this footage.”
