(Gloucestershire, UK--May 31, 2016) IABM announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Future Media Concepts (FMC) for the latter to host IABM training courses at its eight training facilities across North America. Initially, FMC will play host for the delivery of eight two-day IABM classroom based courses, including IP and file-based workflows, audio and video fundamentals, network essentials, advanced networks, introduction to broadcast technology and understanding the broadcast and media industry.

Established in 1994, FMC is the USA’s premier digital media training organization, providing manufacturer-authorized training for professionals engaged in digital video and film editing, motion graphics, Web design and development, sound design, 3D animation, desktop publishing, architectural and mechanical design, Mac IT and mobile Apps development.

FMC’s connected classrooms integrate video conferencing that will allow people booking onto IABM courses to attend in person or to link-up via any other available FMC center, or from their desk at work or home. FMC training centers are located in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Orlando, Chicago, Irvine CA, Phoenix and Toronto.

Jeff Rothberg, co-founder of FMC, said, “We are excited about providing access to our customized training suites in North America and Canada as well as the ability to provide quality, consistent and accessible training to industry professionals and members of IABM.”

“We have been looking for a partner to enable us to better deliver our wide range of professional development training courses to students in North America, and FMC has exactly the facilities we need,” said Andy Jones, IABM Head of Training. “Our North American training offer will benefit greatly from the use of FMC’s interconnected training centers in the USA and Canada. Furthermore, the IABM and FMC training offers are complementary, so we are already exploring the potential of growing the way that we work together long-term, to the benefit of a broad range professionals in our industry.”

The IABM agreement with FMC allows each organization to promote and sell the other’s training courses and e-learning.
