(August 11, 2016) Dan Pappalardo, CEO and founder of Troika, announces Austin Katz as Chief Development Officer to lead strategic growth and development at the branding and marketing innovations agency.
He is tasked with further developing and expanding Troika’s services to help clients better understand the shared cultural and human values that drive engagement today. He joins Troika from The Company (The Ebersol Lanigan Company) as Chief Operating Officer, where he successfully implemented a growth and operations strategy that resulted in sizeable increases in revenue and profitability.
As a leader in entertainment and sports media branding for more than 15 years, Troika has seen double-digit growth in response to the expansion of the brands that recognize consumers as audiences and fans. Troika’s clients range from brands, such as UFC, Riot Games and Red Bull to longstanding media giants, like Warner Bros., Turner, CBS and Starz and innovative consumer product and service brands, including GoPro, Pechanga Resort and Casino and Canada Goose.

Austin’s background includes experience in both the entertainment industry as well as the agency side, where he has worked with innovative brands, such as Clorox, Chrysler, FedEx, Marriott, Schwinn, Mad Men, Bravo, HGTV and Weber.
Prior to The Company, he was with Brand Sense Partners, Warner Bros., InfoSpace Mobile, Sony Corp. and Rare Ventures in various leadership and senior management roles.
Austin graduated with his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
