(Spiceland, IN--February 2, 2018) Draper’s latest ambient light rejecting TecVision projection surface rejects 82 percent of ambient light, and it will be on display at ISE 2018, February 6-9 in Amsterdam. TecVision CS1200X ALR is a grey surface with excellent ambient light rejection properties. With an ALR rating of 18, TecVision CS1200X ALR rejects 82 percent of the ambient lighting not being produced by the projector.

Ideal for environments with high ambient lighting and controlled viewing angles, CS1200X ALR has superior contrast with excellent black retention. The higher 1.2 gain will help brighten the image in sizes up to 67 feet wide.

Just like the rest of Draper’s TecVision line, CS1200X ALR is 8K-ready and Imaging Science Foundation-certified for color accuracy, so users won’t notice the blue tints present in images on many other ambient light rejecting screens.

The CS1200X ALR designation means it’s a surface with superior contrast that meets or exceeds contrast offered by any competitive viewing surface.

In addition, the CS1200X ALR is available as a Nanoperf surface for acoustical transparency.

To see TecVision CS1200X ALR in person, visit Draper in Hall 15, stand 15-B250 at ISE 2018, February 6-9 in Amsterdam, or go to draperinc.com/go/TecVision.htm.

Since 1902, Draper’s business philosophy has been a simple one — to make a quality product and sell it at a reasonable price. Draper saw the problem of the sun’s heat and glare in schools — the largest buildings in most communities at that time. Draper addressed that problem by making and selling spring-roller window shades in Spiceland, Indiana, 40 miles east of Indianapolis. High quality window shades were Draper’s primary product for 60 years. Today, the V Screen, is Draper’s first projection screen. To learn more about Draper, please visit www.draperinc.com
