Ikegami’s AXII was developed for the range of next-generation HD, 4K, and 8K cameras, with the ability to perform high speed processing of super high resolution video signals in multiple formats and frame rates. AXII’s advanced design enables this new processor to deliver excellent imagery with high reliability and low power consumption.
The AXII DSP in the HDK-99 incorporates a 3D color matrix. This color matrix function enables precise color adjustment for all occasions, and 16 axes of the color gamut can be fine-tuned in both hue and saturation. This function works in real time, and is extremely beneficial for live multi-camera applications.
In addition, the Ikegami HDK-99 has a Lens Aberration Correction function, which minimizes the loss of resolution and colored edges caused mainly by lens chromatic aberration. Its Quick EZ Focus Assist Function provides very distinct enhancement to the viewfinder signal, which enables the camera operator to make critical focus adjustments. The size of area, area color, edge color, and display time on the viewfinder are all adjustable in the camera menu.
Featuring a docking-style construction, the HDK-99 can be outfitted with several available adapters and CCU’s, base stations, and control panels.
“With the HDK-99, Ikegami is proud to give our users everything they needed next from a world-class CMOS portable camera,” says Teri Zastrow, Director of Sales and Marketing for Ikegami. “With outstanding 4K and HDR capabilities, the HDK-99 provides flexibility for current and future production needs.”
