(New York, NY--October 11, 2018) Multi-camera television is changing rapidly, with techniques that are on the cutting edge of live TV. How and why this is happening will be explained at an NAB Show New York panel sponsored by the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600). The panel, titled How Unscripted Television is Reinventing Multi-Cam, will start next Wednesday, October 17 at 2:45 in the Main Hall.

Panelists, director Michael Pearlman and camera operators Selene Richholt, SOC and Tom Wills, will explain how they’re constantly re-inventing the visual flow of multi-camera productions.

Later that day, operators Jeff Muhlstock, SOC and Todd Armitage, SOC will discuss the art of camera operating in the SOC panel The Collaboration of Sneaky Pete. The following day Selene Richholt will be sharing her insights in a panel sponsored by #GALSNGEAR which will focus on women in production and post production.

President Steven Poster, ASC said, “ICG members are major contributors to the rapidly expanding world of unscripted content and we are pleased to work with the NAB to make this valuable session happen.”

The NAB Show is being held at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City October 17-18.
